ICPL Art Advisory Committee Seeks Candidates | Arts & Culture

IOWA CITY, Iowa--The Library Board of Trustees is looking for candidates to fill two vacancies on the Iowa City Public Library Art Advisory Committee. Both terms end April 1, 2016.Duties may include: assisting staff in the purchase of original art for the Art-To-Go collection; advising the Library Board on the purchase or selection of permanent original art for the building; and periodically reviewing proposals for gifts or shows of original art not solicited by Library staff.

Candidates must reside in Iowa City or rural Johnson County, and are appointed to the Committee by the Library Board. Library employees are not eligible for appointment. Art or design professionals are preferred.
